The methodology for validation of NFV infrastructure is a key factor when defining the test cases in the scope of test projects. In this presentation, an overview of the ETSI-NFV methodology for Pre-Deployment validation of NFV Infrastructure from the perspective of a VNF will be provided, as well as the main aspects of the realization in OPNFV Yardstick framework, which is part of OPNFV Yardstick Project. Generic test cases examples will be discussed along with a walk-through of the deliverables of the OPNFV Yardstick Project.
