NFV is becoming a reality in the world of networks. There are many questions that abound from the use of containers and OpenStack. The real challenge is how do you simplify the deployment of the NFV infrastructure and the VNFs. The goal is to make things quick and easy. Service providers are embracing virtualized network functions to improve network agility and reduce hardware budgets. Who better to help predict the future and look at what’s real, what’s not, and what’s tantalizingly close to production readiness in NFV then a panel of individuals who have worked in NFV from the beginning. Led by Canonical VP John Zannos the panel of Margaret Chiosi of AT&T (and president of OPNFV), Chris Price of Ericsson (and tech lead of OPNFV), Martin Taylor CTO of Metaswitch, Jennifer Lin of Juniper (Contrail) and Artur Tyloch Telecom Lead at Canonical, will explore the future direct of NFV and the pace of adoption.
