My name is Kevin Luehrs. I am a Director at CableLabs, and a member of the Virtualization and Network Evolution team led by Chris Donley, which is within CableLabs R & D/Network Technologies department. The Virtualization and Network Evolution group runs several projects investigating the applicability of SDN and NFV to services offered by CableLabs member cable television companies, including Internet access service, business services and home network service. I am currently managing a project focused on virtualization of business CPE. The project has been accepted in OPNFV as Connectivity Services LSO and part of it has been proposed as a new project to OpenDaylight, as UNI Manager feature plug-in. I spoke about this project at NCTA INTX 2015 and at CableLabs conferences Summer 2014, Winter 2015 and Summer 2015. I have spoken on other topics in various industry and CL project meetings.
