Brian O’Connor is a core developer for ONOS and Mininet at ON.Lab, focused on developing the northbound abstractions for ONOS (like the Intent framework) that make it easier to build network applications. He is currently serving on the ONOS Technical Steering Team and is committer for the ONOSFW project. Brian received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University. Previous speaking experience includes: Teaching with Mininet (co-presented tutorial at SIGCOMM 2014), "ONOS: Towards an Open, Distributed SDN OS" (presented paper at HotSDN, SIGCOMM 2014), ONOS Developer Tutorial (co-presented tutorial at ONS 2015), ONOS Developer Workshop (panelist for workshop at ONS 2015), and ONOS Northbound Abstractions (presentation at ONS 2015).
