Bryan Sullivan

AT&T
With 32 years experience in the telecom industry, Bryan has a broad background in software development, system engineering, and standards for private and public switching, data communications, and wireless data services. As part of the team that launched the first mobile web service in the U.S., AT&T PocketNet, Bryan served as lead architect for AT&T's mobile browsing and push service architectures, and has represented AT&T with significant contributions to mobility-focused standards in the WAP Forum, Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP), and W3C. As Director of Service Standards for AT&T, Bryan currently leads a team representing AT&T in a diverse set of standards-setting organizations and industry alliances including the W3C, OMA, GSMA, ETSI, and IETF, with an overall mission to promote open standards supporting services that are innovative, ubiquitous, resource-efficient, and most of all, are driven by what developers need, in order to deliver what users want.
